In honor of National Camera Day (which came & went on June 29th during my recovery from surgery), I want to showcase the camera's ability to capture the big picture or just a piece of the whole, the contrast of light & shadow, a punch of color or lack there of, all the soft contours & rough edges.
On one of our recent trips to Lowe's, I gave my camera a moment to stretch its legs.
As ladies who can pick a drill bit & a drywall nail out of a line up, the staff offered my mom & I employee vests. Our cart filled with metal & muscle was needing a bit of nature. During recess in the garden center, I did the "walk & stop" (every eight steps to take a picture) so a game of Marco Polo led me to my mom who was on the hunt for the plushest ferns.
One more thing...have a great day on purpose!
