This week in pictures, through the eyes of a local...

Alex & I are blessed to live in a "vacation spot". 

We get to dig our toes into the sand, inhale the salty air & proclaim with a hint of disbelief 

that "We live here!".

The "seasonal" tide has begun to roll in, bringing with it seven times the off-season population. 

We smile as the grocery cashier asks "So are you here on vacation?"

"Actually, we're locals!" we proudly answer.

Our roots have taken ground on the shore. 

It's just us... 

making sand angels & eating breakfast on the sandbar,

and then there's me... 

saving a seagull by spastic-ally chasing it away from the hazardous Styrofoam it's trying to snack on.
