Friday Flipbook: Week 30

This week in pictures...

Don't mind me, I'm just the lady stopped short in the produce department snapping pictures of daffodils.
Please drive around me as these flowers have me wrapped around their finger.

Mama's candied yam recipe before.

Annnnd after

Of course, it only looks this way for 20 seconds before I devour the ooey gooey marshmallow layer.
Oh, you don't have marshmallows on your serving? Hmm, I have no idea how that could have happened.

"Where could we fit this antique sewing machine?" I rationally ask myself at the thrift store.
Precious object + Über bargains = Me mentally rearranging our furniture to make said object fit
(You could see my wheels turning when a free piano was up for grabs on Craigslist last week.)
[Sidebar: I don't sew. Or play piano.]

I just can't get enough. Behold, dried starfruit.

Can you relate? I thought so!

The beauty of living not only by the beach but next to a marsh?
You see a six foot alligator pass by your car. We really do live nestled in a special habitat here. I just love it.

I wish you a relaxing weekend!
Slide down into a hot bath & melt the week off your shoulders.

One more thing...have a great day on purpose! (Wake up tomorrow every day thinking "Something wonderful is going to happen today!")

  1. Great!
But if you import these photos into digital magazine software, you will make a turning page flipbook.

  2. Fresh star fruit is the BEST! We have them in Fiji but the nicest star fruit I've tasted was in the Cook Islands. I actually think they have the nicest fruit in general!
