This week in pictures...
(I realize it's Monday & I've fallen behind the Flipbook schedule. Once I got back from Maine in the wee hours of Saturday morning I was wiped out!)

The day finally arrived last Tuesday!
After four months of counting down, Mr. A & I set off to spend my mom's birthday with her in Maine. When we pulled up she shouted as she throw her towel into the air (seen on the sidewalk) & came running! I looove my mama.
How could it be autumn in New England without a stoop strewn with pumpkins? Haven't you seen the movies?! Growing up in a single parent household, we took pride in what we had. Home was wherever we were. Now that my mom owns her first house, she takes pride in her stoop. As do I.
It's just NOT a visit to Maine until you've had wild Maine blueberries. It's always on the docket. A must do eat! A wild Maine what, you ask? Well 'round those parts regular blueberries take a backseat. It's the wild ones that run the show!
Speaking of to-do's when I visit home...I could never deprive Macy Man & Rocky of their very own photo shoots. What kind of mother would that make me?! They are so precious that I could just squeeze the $*** outta them! (Despite the violent sound of it, that statement makes me a most loving mother.)
Like any loving mother, I'm the shoulder that this little boy can lean on.
When you go exploring the woods during autumn, it looks like leaf confetti is suspended above you.
After we hosted a cookout for our neighbors, a few stuck around for some music. Mr. A jumped at the chance to take the neighbor's Gibson guitar for a spin. Who could resist?!
Mr. A discovered this fantastic color setting on his camera during our trip. What timing! We were able to isolate colors to focus on the autumnal tones. This is one of his many striking photos that came as a result.
Mr. A captured this sweet moment when we were in Bar Harbor on my mom's birthday. This Arizona family started talking to us when they noticed Mr. A's ASU sweatshirt. Moments after he took this picture, Rocky went in the (freezing) ocean for the first time.
I spy a broomstick!
Before I left Maine, my mom & I made our favorite Halloween treat. Stay tuned!
Enjoy this witchy week before Halloween!
