Friday Flipbook: Week 3

Sunset Splendor

This week in pictures...

I spy the last Zebra cookie! This can't be. We need more. Someone make more!!
Days after they were gone, Mr. A clung to hope as he asked if there were any more. That's how scrumptious these are. Make them now & become a baking god in your friends' eyes.

This batch from my "To Make Someday" folder reinforced the notion that not all recipes are winners. So this is what a cookie graveyard looks like!

The Halloween displays have arrived! That means I will be getting lost in ghoulish wonder up & down endless aisles. These decorative books top my mental wish list of beautifully creepy goods. I became inspired for our first Halloween display.

After an hour spent in Michael's I spotted this card in those last look bins that I can never resist.
Isn't this a darling card to give to someone who fed you? (Whether it was your belly or your soul.)

When Mr. A & I set off to start our day, I spotted this cicada on his back. He was struggling to turn himself right so I assisted him. To thank me, he posed just long enough for me to photograph his delicate wings.

Luckily there wasn't a car behind me as that light turned green because I had no problem stopping to take this wonderful picture! Numbers even have a sense of humor.

Obviously Mr. A took this one. It's hard not to be in awe.

Fall is here so the leaves must fall. I found this one staring me in the face through my windshield.

My stomach can't handle adult multivitamins so, to nourish my recovering body, my doctor suggested children's vitamins. Starting my day off with edible monkeys always make me smile.

If you live in the South than you've crossed paths with love bugs.

I have found a weakness to add to my list: Blueberry yogurt covered pretzels.
If anyone has a recipe for them please, for the love of all that is holy, share it with me!

Not to be deterred by my chocolate chip cookie nosedive earlier in the week, I grabbed another recipe from my "To Make Someday" folder. The challenge: Cinnamon Brownies. The result: Missing something. That something? Cinnamon Chips! I begin my quest to get my hands on some.

Here's to a break in the weather! Have faith that it will happen.
Enjoy the beginning of October!
