Dancing To The Beat

It doesn’t have to be a manic Monday. It can be a Funday, no need to wish it was Sunday. This morning I found a cure for the ‘Monday Mourning My Weekend’ blues! I danced.


I love that moment when music inhabits you & it’s all you can do to not counteract it with movement. You could groove like Elaine or Carlton …but appearance be damned, the music has moved you!


It speaks to my vintage style that “my jam” is from the 50’s. (I will always be grateful for the vast musical education that my mom proffered me.) If “Come Go With Me” by The Del Vikings comes on while I’m in your company, hand to God, you will see me dance. In my own special way.
